Established in 2006, the Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC) is dedicated to coordinating the advancement of the Halal industry in Malaysia. HDC is focused on enhancing Halal standards, audits, and certifications, as well as strengthening the capacity of Halal products and services. HDC aspires to build a global Halal community and encourages local businesses to be involved in the global Halal market. Through its efforts, HDC is paving the way for Malaysia to establish the highest standards for Halal practices, and to contribute to the global development of the Halal industry.
